Having spent many years in the NHS, many aspects of health and wellbeing intrigued me and created a desire to learn more about the direct causes of poor health.

Here is an insight into my journey/expertise and accreditation:

  • I was a cardiothoracic nurse for many years in a London Hospital where I was solely based on the cardiac and respiratory wards.

  • I spent over 15 years in Accident and Emergency, which gave me a wealth of clinical experience.

  • I then followed my passion for preventative health and diseases with a functional medicine approach. I completed a degree in clinical herbal medicine.

  • I then completed a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from one of the highest accredited bodies, The College of Natural Medicine (CNM), which focuses on optimising health. This gave me the grounding experience in biochemistry in health and disease.

  • I continue to update my knowledge and skills through many courses around nutrition, health and functional medicine - I draw upon many avenues within my work, such as clinical understanding, functional medical testing and analysing the role of food/lifestyle and the effects of the body on a cellular level. I draw upon all these areas to optimise the health of my clients.
